It does have a new sprue for the updated hood, the tires no longer have a logo on them, they went back to the dulled chrome plating ( which I like ). Will still need DM's kirkly seat to update the model as it has the old style seat, and it still has the old 84,85 chassis I think it is. Oh and there are no tire logos on the decal sheet.

Ya know that would be great if Joe did decals for goodyear, firestone, and Hoosier. Maybe in half sheets or even quarter sheets would work. I know I would be buying some.

Picked up a Kinser kit today. The seat, chassis, engine, air cleaner's,wings are old tooling. From my memory I really don't see a lot of new parts.Apart from the new hood,nose/down tube part and decals it seems nothing new.I'm dissapointed they could'nt up date the chassis, and some other items but oh well.

:o :o Well not to sure how many years it has been , maybe 10 or more since a new kit was released , so you can imagine how happy i was to receive the new Steve Kinser kit in the mail today . But the happy thoughts turned into slight disappointment after opening it to find the only thing that has change are the Decals :( . No update to the kit what so ever :x I guess if there is a positive to this is that the price was resnable which means i can buy more kits and build more custom Sprintcars :D
