2013 Dave DArland USAC sprint car

Post by Jeremy »

I didn't do a WIP on this one because I was trying to get it done in a hurry for the Heartland Nationals in Kansas City this past weekend. I modified the kit chassis and added a Dirt Modeler seat, Jacob's ladder, bird cages, and wheel cover. I also scratch built a set of Super Shox for the front and rear out of aluminum tubing and all the body panels. The hood and nose were mastered by me and cast by Big Donkey Resin. I cast the front tires and an air box, which didn't turn out too bad for my first try. The decals are from Scale Sprints.
