RJ Johnson's 2013 USAC Sprinter

Post by Old Sprinter »

I am starting a model for the owner of RJ Johnson's 360 USAC sprinter. He just wrapped up the Southwest USAC championship last weekend in Peoria, AZ. Like all my stuff it's 1/8 scale and scratch built. This car is a Sherman chassis with a Ford ( Roush/ Yates) motor

Frame is complete, axles and body next. As you can see I draw out all my models before I build them.

Got her up on Imagewheels; that's a milestone for me as making the tires and wheels is the most time consuming thing about the whole model.

Thanks, Justin. I missed last weekend but I'm going this Friday and Saturday. WOO coming here again this year, so you need to get home. Tucson's track is far better than Canyon ( I think) and a lot closer.
