wingless build

Post by s29 »

G'day all, i could not help myself and started another build this month, this time trying my first wingless car, as usual had to cut and replace a load of barwork to bring the chassis up to date, scratched up the body panels ,nerfs, hood, front and back bumpers and made a halo for the roll cage, heres a few progress pics of where its at

Is that the kit nose hood piece? if so how did you get it to fit around the downtubes?

yes mate it is the kit nose piece, i cut of the attatched downtubes gave the underside a clean up with a file then glued strips to the sides and shaped them, might see it a bit better in this picturImagee

Randy thanks for showing some interest in this build, this car has an eagle chassis mate, cant tell you if the halo is original or has been put on the car by the team here in australia though. most teams start with a winged car chassis and add a halo to bring them up to the aussie regulations for this class.
