Questions about clear coat

Can you clear coat over wateslide decals? I've been doing some research about it and answers seem to be varied. Also I picked up some future floor polish because I hear some people use that. Haven't tried it yet. Also what other suggestions on clear coats or any do's and dont's. Thanks guys

First things first, you need to figure out if the decals are printed on an inkjet or an ALPS. For my ALPS decals I use Testors Decal Bonder that comes in a small rattle can. You can find it much cheaper than what this link shows, Im just using it to show you the can.
