mate you can buy seatbelt sets with belt material and photo etched metal parts from detail master, there are other companies out there as well making them, you can also buy detailing wire for spark plug leads and braided hose for oil and water hoses, there are heaps of companies who specialise in aftermarket model car detail parts you can find on the net, lots of imagination will help you as well, broken play station controllers are great places to find small wiring that can be used for engine bay details, if you read through posts on here you will see people have used a variety of odds and ends to up the detail level of their builds, hope this helps, happy building

Best kit money can buy as far as full size sprint cars is the 1/18 scale car by R&R Enterprises. Around 60 bucks depending on the seller

That one is a personal choice I think, R&R are far from accurate, certainly look nice on the shelf (I have many ) and as you said offer many parts to choose from, depends on what you are striving for I suppose, if you are striving for an accurate realistic looking detailed car you have to use the smaller plastic 1/24 scale kit I think, far more scale accurate so much easier to work with and so much more available in the way of upgrade parts from the aftermarket sector, as said it's a personal choice, plastic is my preference, good luck with your build mate look forward to seeing some pics as you progress

Microsprint988,I have right side views of chassis in 1/24 if your interested. They all date back though to middle of the last decade or earlier though. Maxim and Maxim big boy are amongst them. PM me an email and I will if I can find them.
