GENERAL QUESTIONS
I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU FOR THIS SIGHT, I HAVE LEARNED A LOT AND THERE ARE MANY TALENTED PEOPLE OUT THERE. I HAVE A COUPLE OF QUICK QUESTIONS. FIRST, WHAT SIZE TUBING AND/OR ROD DO MOST PEOPLE USE FOR THE 1/24 SCALE CHASSIS. THE SECOND QUESTION IS, DECALS, IS THERE SOMEONE OUT THERE THAT HAS THE DAVE DARLAND 2G SPRINT AND THE JOE GAERTE 8H SLIXX THAT WOULD LIKE TO SELL THEM. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME, DAN.
Re: GENERAL QUESTIONS
I use 1/16th rod on my chassis. Others may use something different, but it works for me!
Re: GENERAL QUESTIONS
I also use .062 rod.
Do u mean the 2b carrs Darland drove in 08 and 09?

Re: GENERAL QUESTIONS
I'm the oddball for the chassis tubing. I use .080" for 25th sprints and 18th midgets. It may not scale out to be EXACT 1 5/8th's that's used on the cars now, but I feel that a combo of the 80, 62, and 40 offers a visual contrast when assembled that looks closer to the real thing. Some may disagree, but I believe it looks as true to scale as they come.
