What do you guys use for rock screens when you make one for your models?

Thanks,

Havn't made one myself but there should be plenty of choices of mesh etc, in the craft and haberdashery shops.

The wire mesh works well for me.

Hardware stores sell aluminum screen door repair kits. Worked wonders on this street stock of mine...

Yeah, I have to re-screen the occasional door or window round our house, so I keep offcuts.
That's one mighty fine lookin' street stock by the way!! 8-)

The problem I have with using window screen material on sprint cars is that the real cars don't have the "block" pattern in the mud guard as the street stocks and modifieds use. I'm working on a sprinter for display in the NNL East tomorrow and am using a "generic" grill photoetched material. Will be finishing up the car tonight, very late I'm afraid and may not have time to look up what the material is. If you want, check in the Finish Line section for my T. Stewart Old Spice car. It's the same material as I'm using on the new sprinter. I'll check after the weekend and see if I kept the packaging for the grill piece. Hope this helps.
