Hoods in progress

Post by sigmaman »

Ok,the first one is one of the most requested. This is where it got up to before I got distracted by another.

As you can see I had to reinforce it so it didn't collapse whilst I was working on it. At the moment its a little thick but will be thinned out when its ready to cast.

The other is a Sammy Swindell hood that I fist started years ago. Its the one to suit his all blue Channellock Stealth. The guys that have been here awhile will remember my fist attempts I'm sure. Coming along much better now that I've started again.

I've only ever seen this hood on Sammys car. It may not have been a Stealth though.

A little bit of progress on this one. Also an issue. The hood appears to be to "tall" I,ve sat the scoop on and it looks like it will be too "short" If I make it taller it will look too big. Any suggestions?

In answer to a previous question just about every man and his dog runs this hood.

The Swindell hood is nearly finished.
