Need a hood like this...

Post by Mach2Mickey »

2007 USAC/CRA #18 Danny "Showtime" Sheridan, owned by Brian Kittle. Is there a hood like this one available, or will it have to be made?

You'll need to make it. It looks like a narroe version of the Maxim hood from the last Kinser release. That would be the best place to start.

I may buy the hood with this type scoop from The Parts Box, cut it off that hood, cut the Kinser kit hood and glue/putty it together with the scoop. Hey, it's called modeling right? If it was easy, everyone would be doing it huh?

Modifying the front end of the last Kinser kit to be the torsion bay/sway bar front on the #18 will be fun too.
