How to bend plastic rod?

I am just starting to do modifications on the Revelle sprint car chassis. How do you bend plastic rods? I can not figure it out. Any help would be greatly helpful. Thanks.

HEAT is your friend. some guys use a lighter, some guys use a candle. Its kinda tricky until you get used to it so be prepared to try and fail a few times. Hope this helps.
