On the Dirtmodeler site and on the facebook page Michael says not to place any orders at the shapeway site yet for the new 3D parts, some kind of problem he is trying to get fixed.

I think it is a sizing problem with the smaller parts when having them printed

yeah i seen that, but this is going to be a cool step in sprint modeling.Maby we could try doing a few newer engine styles /parts like this !!

May I make a suggestion? there are two men that I know of on this forum that build great Sprint Car Chassis, why not just ask either one of them to build you a Great Chassis, one that's ready to do what ever to it without going through all of the repair work to get the Chassis fixed with Filler Paint or Putty, a Chassis that's Strong!
I'm not trying to cut any body down, I'm just saying that I have a Chassis that I bought from Dirt Demon, that's a Show Piece, and it's ready for building onto right now, and all I had to do is take it out of it's shipping Box!
So check out the Master Builders on this Forum First!!

I think it has great potential for updating ALOT of the out dated parts from the kits. A new intake/injector system would be awesome plus I see he has posted some spindles and birdcages etc. The parts future looks BRIGHT!

hi guys.

dont order from shapeways directly. what i am doing is ordering and selling through my store. some customers had problems with their orders and i did not like it.

i have the birdcages available now, i will put the spindles up this weekend.

i sell from stock on hand so there is no waiting for them to be printed.

I just ordered some of the birdcages from Michael yesterday, I will post up what I think once I get them, but I have no doubt they will be great like the rest of his products.
