Tony Stewart Dirt Late Model

Post by Jeremy »

With my Kinser sprint car out of the way, I decided to start on Tony Stewart's Bass Pro Shops Dirt Late Model. I started with a 3D printed chassis from Shapeways and added a ton of Dirt Modeler parts already. The chassis is almost ready for paint, I just have to get a day free to get it done.

Looks great Jeremy. Can't wait to see it finished. Going to my courage up some day and attempt one myself.

I have made some progress on this the past couple of weeks!! I got the chassis primed and painted with some awesome stuff from Scale Finishes. It was then cleared with 2 part urethane, which took care of a lot of the rough texture. Next, I got all my parts together from Dirt Modeler and started on the rear suspension. I just need to finish the rear shocks that were put together using a kit from Custom Dirt Cars, and it will be complete!! The front suspension will be next!
