1929 Ford custom pickup

Post by Dirt Devil »

This is the Revell 1929 ford pickup 3 in 1 kit I called it a custom as I have taken elements form all three versions and put them into this build.
First the body is stock except for the one change at the rear it has a custom rolled pan with lights from the roadster version of the kit. The wheels are stock wheels but it has the lowered front suspention from the street rod version of the kit. The engine mostly from the roadster version with twin air intakes and carbs but the exhaust that I put on were in the kit but not mentioned in the instructions. To get the exhaust to fit I had to shave away some of the body and firewall on the right side of the cab as they prevented the exhaust from sitting on the block correctly.

I kind of like it better without the hood.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I was looking for a build that would get the creative blood flowing and I think this was the kit to do it. As I type this I have several other builds on the go. The next build I show on the forum will feature the devils first attempt at something new and if it works then it should feature on more of my builds in the future.
