At least your season is starting, can take your mind off it a little.
Ours is all but over, think there is only one decent local sprint race left in south oz.

The "ball of pain" i had before is totally gone. Now its just around that area getting used to not moving since its fused. The tingling is a wait and see. It may stay like this or it may go back to what it was before.
Very much looking forward to spring/summer. Already making plans to attend a couple USAC races here in April.

Fair enough, time will tell. Time will dull the pain a little too.
Have seen some pics on the net of sprints at a track, while it's snowing. Is spring a little slow over there??
