I'm interested in your concept here. I wonder, though, if you can get the scale thickness you're looking for. I've thought that vacuum forming might be the way to go for those pieces. Some day I'd lilke to try it...

This link appears to come from Hobbico, Revell's parent company. Strange, though, that they don't have it on their own web site.

Thanks for the kind comments, guys. Geoff, I have been using the method Donn Yost teaches in his airbrushing DVD (oldmansmodels.com) since I started using an airbrush a couple of years ago. Basically, the process is that I polished the plastic with a Detail Master polishing kit wetsanding up to 1200...

Hello! I just wrapped up a new midget build from the kit that my wife got me for Christmas. I like going to the local contests and shows here in So Cal, so I thought this might make a good entry for the box-stock class, so that's how I built this one. Everything is from the kit, except the Halibrand...
