Yup, 1/16 evergreen rod for the main parts of the chassis, a little hint to as some parts of the chassis are smaller OD bar work in places. I usually have .10, .20, and sometimes use .30 sheet styrene, evergreen as well, hope this helps

I'm pretty sure I have old Openwheel mags somewhere around here with pics of this car in them with a variety of strange hoods on them! I know Sammy was right into the aero on his cars on the big tracks (mile traks) back then..... even remember one of the TMC cars having independent front suspension ...
