I'm with Justin here, I use styrene sheet to fit the safety cage rail, painted then glue in place, then decal. I have a template I use and gently bend to shape then a few tiny drops of super glue. I add the safety cage bar to the 1/18th diecast's. I'll get around to posting some pictures soon, if I ...

I've personally never used inkjet, but I have a mate who does and his turn out good. I have used laserjet with much success in the past however now I have Patto with his silk ink process and he can do white ink, so I rarely bother to print my own any more.
