Another couple questions.....I have already read that for frame tubing on 1/24 scale cars that 1/16" (.062) styrene rod is the most common size...is that correct...1/16" for tubing in frames...if I multiply that by 24 i get 1 1/2" so I know thats right.....and what about bumpers & nerfbars?...Still ...

I have made a decision, now I need need some help
I have decided which build I am going to do as my re-introduction to the hobby... I saw my first sprint car race at age 6-7 or so at Sedalia, MO on the mile...the year would have been between 1978 and 1981...there were no wings on the cars, and the race was won by Shane Carson in the Vise-Grip numbe...

That was me that posted that thread on IndianaOpenWheel...I am now a member of scalesprints...god this site is amazing... I've spent lots of time on ebay today looking for sprint kits and parts....I plan on going to my dads house soon to try to find any left over remnants of the 80 or so sprintcars ...
